I had the pleasure of finally meeting BabyMayMoon Thursday night while I was in Los Angeles. I tell you this was a date a long time in the comming.
Negs famously chronicled the evenings adventures here . I suggest y'all click through and read it. MAKE HASTE!! GO NOW!!!
I have to say I had a fantastic evening of Persian food and Hookah smoking. The atmosphere outlined for me was relaxed and groovy. Negs was nothing less than a courteous and attentive hostess......and damn that girl is funny.
Thanks for a wonderful evening Negs!! Make sure you hook up with CiaoBella to lock in some Texas time. You gotta give me a chance to repay the favor...

Memphis Week 2 Day 1.
last week was uneventful but I did do some fun things.
Mesquite Chop House, and Flying Saucer are always good Digs.
Saturday I saw my first Professional Tennis Match . http://www.rmkchampionships.com/1/home/
I saw Soderling beat Stephanek in singles. Soderling beat Roddick the day before to some suprise.
I also saw a doubles match with 2 thai twins playing some brazilian kids. Fun to watch...
I also saw my first Roller Derby.http://www.memphisrollerderby.com/ .
The Legions of Zoom lost to the Woman of Mass Destruction.... Awesome... I was invited to the after party but I had to decline as the only scantilly clad woman in roller skates I want in my close proximity is CiaoBella...

My mom was accepted to USC ... but had to pass becuase of financial issues, and my sister in her oven.
My Grandma (mom's mom) went to the Business School at USC.
My Great Grand Dad (Mom's Mom's Dad...) got his law degree from USC.....
My Mom cried on the phone today when I told her that for the next week I will be teaching at USC. Faculty not students... but still.... Carrying on the tradition.....
And by the way.... I have a hotel room in Mid Town LA across the street from the campus in case anyone is interested in tearing it up...

Lemme tell you..
I am in a business hotel. After 11pm your in trouble..
Which suprised me why a bunch of us business travelers where seated in the same area as a Wedding Party.
Business asleep by 11.

At 1 AM after a note, a call by management and a personal visit by management my tattooe'd neighbor wouldn't shut up
So at 1 am I walked out of my room..
ME "listen bitch if you dont shut up I will beat you about the head, chest and shoulders."
DUDE: "are you in your underwear?"
ME: "Yeah, A. when was the last time you had your ass kicked? B. By a guy in underwear??"
DUDE: stutters....

I slept fine until 6 when the alarm went off. Werd........
